Lucia and Jirka got married on 28 September 2024 at Hospodářský dvůr Bohuslavice, a family farm in the Telč area. They said their vows among massive log pillars; in the afternoon we headed into the fields for guided couple portraits, and in the evening their guests lined up with sparklers.
The day's schedule was painted on a pallet leaning by the entrance, wrapped in greenery – from the ceremony through lunch and cake cutting to the first dance. Lucia wore a denim jacket over her dress, out by the straw bales and again in the evening among the sparklers.
Chapter 1: Getting ready
· Rings on a birch slice, the tables laid, Jirka among men in navy suits and bridesmaids buttoning Lucia into her dress.
Chapter 2: Ceremony
· Exchanging rings and signing at a tree-trunk table, the first congratulations and the walk out between guests under white petals.
Chapter 3: After the ceremony
· A group photo on the meadow, Lucia among women in coloured dresses, the day's schedule on a pallet and walking into the hall.
Chapter 4: Portraits in the fields
· Guided couple portraits by the straw bales and in the dry grass on a hill with wayside shrines, Lucia's train billowing.
Chapter 5: Reception and evening
· Pastries on wooden stumps, cutting a cake with green layers and, in the evening, a tunnel of guests with sparklers.
