Personal Data Processing

By ticking the box "I agree to the processing of personal data" you grant, in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (hereinafter "GDPR"), to Pavel Prokeš, with registered address at Křižíkova 424/127, 186 00 Prague 8 – Karlín, Czech Republic (hereinafter "Controller"), consent to the processing of your personal data to the extent of the following data:

• first and last name;
• email address;
• phone number;

(hereinafter "Personal Data").

Personal Data will be processed by the Controller for the purpose of providing the Controller's services and marketing and business activities, for the period strictly necessary, but no longer than 4 years from the date of granting consent to their processing.

By granting this consent you confirm that this consent was given freely and with full knowledge, and you acknowledge that this consent may be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal of consent must be made in writing and sent to the Controller at Křižíkova 424/127, 186 00 Prague 8 – Karlín, Czech Republic or via the contact form.

By granting consent you also declare that you have been informed of your rights under the GDPR, particularly the right of access, rectification, erasure of Personal Data and the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection.

Measuring traffic in the photo galleries

So that I know which photographs in my portfolio people genuinely care about, I measure how the galleries on this website are viewed. What is recorded is which gallery and which photograph was opened, how long the visitor stayed on it, which photograph the viewing ended on, whether the visit came from a mobile phone, tablet or computer, from which country, and which website the visitor came from (its name only, never the full address). None of this is linked to a particular person — I do not know, and have no way of finding out, who viewed the gallery. This applies to the public portfolio only; the private galleries handed over to clients are not measured at all.

No cookies are used for this measurement and nothing is stored in your browser — which is why you will not find a statistics cookie banner on this website. Your IP address is not stored either: the moment a request arrives, the server turns it into an irreversible fingerprint whose key changes every day, and discards the address itself. The data is not passed on to anyone, is not combined with any other service, and is not used to follow you across other websites.

The legal basis for this processing is my legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — I need to know what works on my website in order to improve it. Individual records are deleted after 30 days; only aggregate figures remain, and those can no longer be linked to any particular visit.
