How much does a wedding photographer cost?
My wedding photography costs 9,500 CZK for the ceremony, 18,000 CZK for the ceremony and reception, 24,000 CZK for a full day (12 hours) and 35,000 CZK for a premium full day with a photo book and photo booth. Every package includes edited photos in an online gallery, a guest gallery, a wedding website and travel within 100 km of Prague. I'm Pavel Prokeš, I have photographed weddings all over the Czech Republic for 14 years, more than 300 so far, and I work with couples in English.

How much does a full-day wedding photographer cost?
A full day costs 24,000 CZK. I photograph 12 hours, from the bride and groom getting ready through the ceremony and reception to the evening party, plus a relaxed couple session where I guide you on where to stand and where to look. You get approx. 300–500 photos and aerial drone shots, weather and venue permitting. If you also want an engagement shoot, a hand-bound photo book and an Instax Wide photo booth, Visual Legacy costs 35,000 CZK (14 hours, approx. 500–700 photos).
How much does a photographer cost for just the ceremony or a small wedding?
The ceremony with group photos and congratulations costs 9,500 CZK (4–6 hours, approx. 80–150 photos). It also works for a short civil ceremony at the registry office: I then adjust the length and price by agreement, often 2–3 hours are enough. I photograph the ceremony and reception for 18,000 CZK (6 hours, approx. 200–350 photos).

What costs extra?
- Engagement shoot: 3,000 CZK with any package, included in Visual Legacy.
- Extending the shoot on the day: 1,500 CZK per started hour, just let me know during the day.
- Travel beyond 100 km of Prague: we agree on travel costs in advance, separately from the package price.
- Aerial drone shots are included in both full-day packages. Intimate Memories and Wedding Celebration don't include the drone.
Why does a wedding photographer cost so much?
The hours at your wedding are only part of the work. Before the wedding there is a meeting and a venue visit; afterwards, selecting and editing every photo, the online gallery and the prints. So the price covers more than the day you see me with a camera.
You also pay for peace of mind: I shoot with two camera bodies and backup lenses, I have liability insurance and the delivery dates are in your contract. And for 14 years of experience and more than 300 weddings, which tell me where to stand during the ceremony and when a moment is coming that can't be repeated.
Common questions about price
Is travel included?
Yes, travel within 100 km of Prague is included in every package. For locations further away we agree on travel costs in advance, separately from the package price.
How much is the deposit?
You pay the deposit within 14 days of signing the contract, and it reserves your date. The rest is due when I deliver the photos. The deposit is 7 000 CZK; for the Intimate Memories package the amount is stated in your quote and contract.
Do you charge extra for a second photographer?
No, I don't offer a second photographer. I always shoot alone, so I stay unobtrusive at your wedding and the style of the photos stays the same from start to finish.
Do we also get the unedited photos (RAW)?
No. I don't hand over RAW files; you get edited photos in JPEG format. There is no limit on the number – you get all the good shots from your wedding.
